Background information

I was contacted by the Art Director of 8VC to create an Austin, Texan illustration that brought the funk. It was originally designed to be an embroidered patch but, when the stakeholders saw the artwork they wanted to screen print the artwork onto Lululemon shirts! We printed with Industry Screen Printing.

The artwork features 8VC’s office on South Congress, Texas symbols (armadillos with the street number and 8VC on them, a bluebonnet and a lone star) and a violet crown made of clouds that give the scene a dreamy, spacey feeling.
